Save the Children says the Central African Republic is in chronic crisis, with children suffering sexual abuse, disease and recruitment into armed groups.

It comes as the United Nations says the absence of law and order since Seleka rebels took over in March threatens the security of the entire region.

Save the Children is proving medicine, child-friendly spaces and healthcare for victims of violence.

Spokesman, Mark Kaye, is in the capital Bangui and told Ildi Amon the challenges are extensive.
